I wanted to let you know that Sis. Marie Bass is still in the hospital.  They took about 10 pounds of fluid off her lungs and she is feeling much better.  They do have her on oxygen and doctors have diagnosed her with a severely damaged heart valve.  They have scheduled an Angiogram to find out how severe the damage is.  If substantial, they may need to perform surgery to replace the valve.

Please continue to pray for this precious sister.

Many of you know Sister Lori Webb - who is the precious wife of Elder Mike Webb, pastor of the Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas.  On Wednesday, she took a bad fall down several stairs and was taken to a local hospital.  Doctors didn't find any broken bones, but she is said to be in severe pain.  She is resting now at home and is certainly in need of our prayers.

How fitting that on this day that we pause in "Thanksgiving" to the Lord, that we have another situation that could have been much worse than it turned out.  As always, we should give thanks to our Lord for His continued blessings and care over us.

Please be in prayer for Sister Webb today.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,   I would like to request that you all hold up my father, George Sieloff, to the Lord in prayer.  He had  cataract surgery about 6 or so months ago and the eye never improved.  At times it is even hard for him to see clearly.  He is going to a surgeon tomorrow, (Monday).  This surgeon has invented a new type of surgery to transplant corneas.  Please pray for the Lord's presence.  My father and mother have been through a lot in recent years, including a heart attack, cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, severe digestive problems, surgeries, a bleeding ulcer, chromic bronchitis and more than  a few cases of pneumonia.

Thank you and may the Lord bless you

Dennis and Tammy SIeloff

Dear Believers in Jesus Christ

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ!

This is Azeem from Rawalpindi, Pakistan. My mother, Surriya is suffering from Cancer of last stage.

She got four chemotherapies. But, unfortunately, there is no benefit for her. She is very serious by now.

She is in PIMS hospital, ward no.2 and bed no. 29.

Please, please, pray for her. I believe that she will be fine, if all believers will pray for her.

Thank you,

In the name of Jesus Christ,

Azeem

Recently, doctors found that cancer had invaded Bro. Elvin Dick’s lymph nodes.  So, he underwent surgery last week to have an incision made behind his left ear and down the side of his throat.  The doctors then removed all the lymph nodes in that area.  It won’t be until next week before doctors get the results back on the end tissues that were removed.  Please keep Bro. Elvin and Sis. Darlene in your prayers.  This is a very scary time but they are truly spiritual individuals who understand where their strength comes from.

We received word tonight that Aaron Schriver, the 23 year old son of Sis. Kelly and Bro. Dave Schriver - has passed away.  As many of you know, Aaron was involved in an automobile accident on Saturday night in which he suffered a broken neck.  He had been treated by doctors in Frisco and later in Dallas since the wreck.  They had Aaron on life support and made the decision to remove him from it earlier today.

This is a horrible tragedy.  The Schriver family is in dire need of our prayers.  What a comfort it is to know that the Lord of Glory is able to comfort them during this time.  Even more so, what an unspeakable joy it is to have the knowledge that Aaron is already basking the heaven's immortal glory.

Please pray for the Schriver family, as well as Aaron's aunt & uncle Sis. Kristie & Bro. Jim Chauncey, his aunt Sis. Kim Lauderdale and their entire family.

Pastor Ellis,

My name is Jeff. I have some physical problems which keep me from working. Also my wife and I are going through a very very difficult place in our relationship. Everyone outside the church community tells me that our situation is hopeless. However I know with God all things are possible. I ask that your church pray for me and my wife that God will deliver us both. I plan to attend your services next week.

Sister Lynn Bruce, a member at the Lewisville Primitive Baptist Church and the daughter of Elder Sonny Pyles, has been diagnosed with breast cancer.  As I understand it, there are three masses of malignancy that have the doctors very concerned.  She is still in prayerful consultation with her doctors as to the best course of treatment.  Please remember this dear sister in your prayers.  She has many frightful days ahead, but our Lord is more than able to grant her all that she stands in need of.

Dear Ones, we are asking for prayers on behalf of Jim & Nancy Carlisle from the First Primitive Baptist Church of Dallas.

Jim is currently undergoing a new chemotherapy for his cancer, which at first appeared to have promising results - but they have learned the cancer is continuing to spread.  An MRI last week revealed that there is now a malignancy in his thigh bone, just behind his knee.  They intend to start radiation on this next week.

Also, Jim's mother is currently in the hospital with fluid in her lungs.  There is concern this could be pneumonia.  She was hospitalized a couple of weeks ago after suffering what they thought was a mild heart attack, which caused her to fall and crack a rib or ribs, and apparently she was also diagnosed at the time with congestive heart failure.  She is also stricken with Alzheimer's, which continues to deteriorate her condition.

Please be in prayer for the Carlisle family during this most difficult time.  We know that God is able to grant them all which they stand in need of.

I ask that you please pray for my son Keith. He visited the Dr. Saturday and there were some medical conditions discovered that could turn out to be serious. I ask that The Great Physician be summoned to guide the earthly physicians decisions and actions.

Many of us have loved one who are serving in the US military overseas. Please remember to ask God to protect them and watch them as they daily place their lives on the line to protect our liberties. Even the liberty to voice our opposition to the war. Also ask God to help their families they have left back here at home.

Please continue to pray that God would grant repentance to this country. I do not have to tell everyone how bad of shape it is in and how far she has drifted from God.

Please remember to ask The good Lord to remove the bars to fellowship among the old Baptist churches. I know there are scriptural reasons sometimes for raising and keeping bars up. But when we ask someone why they do not fellowship another group and they can not tell you why, that is a problem. Let us ask our God for grace and humility that we may walk towards one another in a way that will please our Heavenly Father.
